ประกาศรายชื่อออกมาแล้วสำหรับเวทีประกาศรางวัลอันทรงเกียรติสำหรับเหล่าผู้สร้างสรรค์ผลงานภาพยนตร์อย่างเวที Academy Awards หรือออสการ์นั่นเอง โดยงานในปีนี้ถือว่าเป็นการประกาศรางวัลครั้งที่ 95 และยังสามารถรักษามาตรฐานไว้ได้เป็นอย่างดีเพราะผู้เข้าชิงรางวัลแต่ละคนนั้นมีผลงานที่ทรงคุณค่ากันทั้งสิ้น ซึ่งในงานนี้ภาพยนตร์ทะลุมัลติเวิร์สอย่าง Everything Everywhere All at Once เข้าชิงไปมากที่สุดกว่า 11 สาขา ถือว่าเป็นดาวเด่นประจำปีนี้เลยก็ว่าได้ ในขณะที่ Michelle Yeoh ดาราหญิงผู้รับบทบาทเป็นแม่ในภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้ก็ได้เข้าชิงสาขานักแสดงหญิงยอดเยี่ยม ส่วนนักแสดงผู้รับบทตัวละครอื่นๆ ในเรื่องก็ได้เข้าชิงนักแสดงสมทบยอดเยี่ยมทั้งชายและหญิงกว่า 3 คน ไม่ว่าจะเป็น Stephanie Hsu, Jamie Lee Curtis และ Key Huy Quan
ส่วนนักแสดงหญิงผู้เข้าชิงสาขา Best Actress คนอื่นๆ ได้แก่ Cate Blanchett ที่เพิ่งคว้ารางวัลลูกโลกทองคำ สาขานักแสดงนำหญิงภาพยนตร์ดราม่า จากเรื่อง Tár, Ana de Armas ในบทบาทดาราสาวในตำนานผู้ล่วงลับ Marilyn Monroe จากเรื่อง Blonde, Andrea Riseborough จาก To Leslie และ Michelle Williams จาก The Fabelmans
